Responsibilities
- Prepare inception and planning materials for the policy and strategic plan process
- Conduct desk review and situational analysis of environmental health policies and evidence
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and consultations across relevant sectors
- Review and develop the Environmental Health Policy
- Develop a costed Environmental Health Strategic Plan for 2027-2031
- Prepare monitoring, evaluation and financing frameworks
- Support validation and finalisation of the policy and strategic plan
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in environmental health, public health, health policy or a related field
- At least ten years of progressively relevant professional experience in environmental health, public health, health systems or policy development
- Demonstrated experience drafting or supporting development of national policies, strategies or action plans
- Strong analytical skills including desk review, policy analysis and synthesis of technical evidence
- Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and participatory approach skills
- Proficiency in professional English writing and strong verbal communication
