Responsibilities
- Coordinate human resources functions across the country office and sub-offices in line with IOM policies
- Verify HR processes and actions for procedural compliance and consistent implementation
- Plan staffing needs and coordinate transparent national and international recruitment
- Oversee HR system data, performance management deadlines and personnel administration
- Advise staff and supervisors on recruitment, entitlements, leave and HR policy interpretation
- Prepare personnel administration reports and coordinate HR initiatives with regional and global units
- Guide, train and supervise Human Resources Unit staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in a related field
- Fluency in French, orally and in writing
- Working knowledge of English, orally and in writing
