Responsibilities

  • Coordinate human resources functions across the country office and sub-offices in line with IOM policies
  • Verify HR processes and actions for procedural compliance and consistent implementation
  • Plan staffing needs and coordinate transparent national and international recruitment
  • Oversee HR system data, performance management deadlines and personnel administration
  • Advise staff and supervisors on recruitment, entitlements, leave and HR policy interpretation
  • Prepare personnel administration reports and coordinate HR initiatives with regional and global units
  • Guide, train and supervise Human Resources Unit staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in a related field
  • Fluency in French, orally and in writing
  • Working knowledge of English, orally and in writing
