Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day financial operations and accounting activities in Quantum under UN and UNU rules
  • Prepare quarterly HST refund reports, VAT exemption requests, budget modifications and spending monitoring inputs
  • Support procurement from requisition to delivery and payment while maintaining supplier and asset records
  • Manage travel requests and claims in UNALL and Quantum, including documentation, authorisations and policy support
  • Provide HR administrative support for recruitment, onboarding, contract administration and personnel management
  • Manage consulting, service-contract and affiliate administration, including renewals and onboarding
  • Coordinate office operations, document management, correspondence, meetings, workshops, facilities and supplies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or public administration, accounting, finance, economics, social sciences or fields related to the role
  • Four years of post-bachelor’s experience or six years of post-high-school experience in human resources, finance or administration support
  • Knowledge of HR policies and their application in the employment life cycle
  • Experience processing payments and financial processes
  • Experience processing travel requests and travel cost reimbursements
  • Experience in procurement and vendor registration and management
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

  • Personnel Service Agreement contract for an initial one year, renewable subject to requirements and satisfactory performance
