Overview

Supports Nigeria’s FAST project by coordinating sustainable public finance and biodiversity work with government and delivery partners. The consultant reviews technical products, steers stakeholder engagement, strengthens workplans and budgets, and helps translate diagnostics into fiscal policy action.

Responsibilities

  • Review sustainable public finance strategies and consult national stakeholders
  • Revise the national workplan, operational plan and partner budgets
  • Quality-assure scoping, sustainable budget analysis and capacity assessment products
  • Coordinate stakeholder mapping and outreach for Communities of Practice
  • Prepare steering committee sessions, briefings and monitoring inputs
  • Develop policy briefs and recommendations on fiscal policy and biodiversity finance

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in public policy, development, environmental studies, economics, international affairs, sustainable finance or a related field, or a first degree with two additional years of experience
  • At least two years of project or programme management experience in climate, biodiversity, green fiscal or macroeconomic policy
  • Fluency in English
