Monitoring and Evaluation Associate

Strengthens results-based management for UNFPA’s country programme by quality-assuring workplans and reports, maintaining monitoring systems, analysing evidence and supporting evaluations. The consultancy helps programme teams and partners use results data for learning, accountability and adaptive decisions.

Department: Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit

• Quality-assure implementing-partner workplans and review progress against planned results
• Implement the country-office monitoring plan and analyse programme performance
• Maintain monitoring and information systems including PMT, IPMT and UN INFO
• Review corporate, donor and partner reports for accuracy, completeness and results alignment
• Support field monitoring, post-distribution monitoring, assessments and evidence generation
• Coordinate planned evaluations and follow up recommendations and management responses
• Prepare analytical summaries, presentations and knowledge products for management decisions
• Advise programme teams and implementing partners on results-based management and reporting

• Completed secondary education
• At least seven years of progressively responsible results-based management experience, reduced to six years with a relevant university degree
• Experience supporting complex programmes in sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence, youth, population dynamics or humanitarian action
• Experience supporting evaluation processes
• Data management, analysis and visualisation experience using Microsoft Excel, Power BI or similar software
• Strong quality assurance, analytical, writing and communication skills
• Fluency in English and Filipino

• Full-time consultancy based at the UNFPA Country Office from 15 August to 31 October 2026
• Approved field travel costs are covered by UNFPA
• Monthly deliverables are reviewed before payment
