Responsibilities

  • Review scientific and grey literature and data on drug demand and health consequences
  • Develop outlines for the online report segment and its analytical highlights
  • Build and quality-check the prepublication dataset for the World Drug Report 2027
  • Produce global, regional and national estimates using quantitative methods
  • Draft analyses, key messages, highlights and methodological materials
  • Address review comments and finalise all assigned report outputs
  • Contribute evidence to special points of interest in the World Drug Report

Requirements

  • Holds an advanced university degree in public health, epidemiology, sociology or a closely related field, or a relevant first degree plus two additional years of qualifying experience
  • Has at least five years of relevant experience and a record of scientific publications or contributions to published reports
  • Has demonstrated quantitative analytical work, dataset management and statistical-software experience
  • Is fluent in English
