Lead participatory-photography initiatives for UN Women's EmPower and PROTECT programmes by guiding photo competitions and exhibitions, coaching women and youth networks, analysing Photolanguage dialogues, engaging universities and producing case studies and human-interest stories.

Responsibilities

  • Guide ethical judging, selection and dissemination for photo competitions
  • Design national and regional participatory-photography exhibitions
  • Coach women, youth, partners and peer networks
  • Analyse Photolanguage dialogue data and present findings
  • Engage university leaders and students on gender-equality peer networks
  • Produce concepts, case studies and human-interest stories

Requirements

  • Master degree in photography, media or a relevant discipline, or bachelor degree plus two additional years of qualifying experience
  • At least five years of progressively responsible participatory-photography experience
  • At least two years of photography or visual-storytelling teaching or training experience
  • Experience engaging marginalised communities through photography
  • English proficiency
