Responsibilities
- Support implementation of the GEF-8 Sustainable Cities Integrated Programme in Malaysia
- Contribute to new country concepts under the GEF-9 Sustainable Cities Integrated Programme
- Conduct research and technical analysis on urban-industrial decarbonisation, sustainable cities and climate finance
- Prepare presentations and knowledge products
- Assist with stakeholder consultations
- Contribute to an AI-enhanced diagnostic framework for the City-Industry Climate Nexus
- Prepare an end-of-internship report for HR clearance
Requirements
- Enrolled in a master's degree or higher, within one year of completing a master's degree, enrolled in the final year of a bachelor's degree, or within one year of completing a bachelor's degree
- Field of specialisation in smart cities or urban studies
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Familiarity with AI or digital tools
