Responsibilities

  • Produce strategic analysis and knowledge products on children and the SDGs
  • Prepare advocacy, briefing and political analysis materials for ECOSOC and HLPF processes
  • Strengthen visibility of children's rights in sustainable development discussions
  • Develop partnership engagement and reporting materials for Nord Anglia Education
  • Generate recommendations to strengthen child and youth engagement in Voluntary National Reviews
  • Document lessons and political analysis from intergovernmental discussions
  • Advance advocacy linked to the Group of Friends of Children and the SDGs

Requirements

  • Master's degree in international affairs, social sciences, economics, communication or another relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in political or policy advocacy, intergovernmental affairs, partnerships, youth engagement or strategic communications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the United Nations system, Member State and intergovernmental processes and the SDGs
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills
