Innovation and Learning Manager

Leads MSF OCA Finance's Innovation and Learning pillar, driving finance process improvement, systems adoption, change management and capability building.

Department: Finance Department

• Lead and develop the Innovation and Learning team
• Define and implement the finance innovation, learning and continuous improvement strategy
• Prioritise process improvement, digital innovation and learning needs
• Support Accounting and FP&A with new systems and ways of working
• Oversee design, testing, documentation and scale-up of finance improvements
• Coordinate change management and capacity-strengthening initiatives
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, workshops and communication
• Run projects directly when needed

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Experience in project management, financial process improvement, and coaching and learning
• Proven experience leading transformation or continuous improvement initiatives in complex organisations
• Strong skills in structured project management and change methodologies
• Ability to translate ideas into practical, scalable solutions
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to occasionally travel to MSF meetings and country programmes

• Dutch employment contract of 40 hours per week with preferred start date of 15 September 2026
• One-year contract with renewal option subject to performance; role is structural
• Hybrid policy allows 40% of weekly hours from home and 60% in the Amsterdam office
• Gross monthly salary between EUR 4,875 and 6,711 full-time depending on experience
