Supports the UN AI Governance for Humanity Lab through online research on private-sector AI governance, regulatory approaches and emerging cooperation mechanisms. Volunteers develop research questions, evidence briefs, workshop concepts and a synthesis note to inform feasibility studies and future partner engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Research AI governance initiatives, standards and cooperation approaches
  • Develop research questions and conceptual frameworks
  • Prepare four to six evidence briefs
  • Design stakeholder workshop concepts and materials
  • Produce a synthesis note on feasibility and partnership opportunities

Requirements

  • Policy research and analysis experience in technology governance
  • Familiarity with AI governance, sandboxes and global regulation
  • Experience facilitating interviews, workshops or consultations
