Human Rights Intern

Supports the Office of the Victims’ Rights Advocate through legal and human-rights research, briefing and drafting, meeting coordination and outreach, helping keep the rights and dignity of victims central to the United Nations response to sexual exploitation and abuse.

• Conduct legal and human-rights research
• Draft briefing notes, talking points and speeches
• Prepare meeting records and track follow-up
• Support public information and outreach activities
• Assist work that centres victims’ rights and dignity

• Current enrolment in a graduate programme or final bachelor’s year, or recent graduation from a qualifying degree
• Fluency in English

• Full-time in-person internship lasting three to six months
• Internship is unpaid; interns cover travel, visa, accommodation and living costs
