Overview

Provides HR, recruitment and entitlement administration support for ESCAP, including affiliate personnel processes, vacancy files, contractual verification, HR records, reporting and client-facing administrative services.

Responsibilities

  • Process applications and recruitment case files for affiliate personnel
  • Support vacancy publication, screening, interview arrangements and offer documentation
  • Review and process entitlement certifications, claims and contractual elements
  • Maintain HR reference files, personnel records, databases and periodic reports
  • Support training courses and workshops for junior staff
  • Draft correspondence and provide general office administration
  • Collect and analyse HR data for reporting, planning and knowledge management

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Five years of experience in human resources management, administrative services or a related area is required, or three years with a bachelor’s degree
  • At least one year of experience administering human resources matters for staff members or affiliate personnel, including internship programmes, is required
  • At least one year of experience verifying and certifying contractual elements using an ERP system in HR modules is required
  • English is required
  • Applicants must be authorised to work for the United Nations in the duty station
