Responsibilities

  • Monitor financial management, expenditure oversight and accountability for the regional programme
  • Analyse programme finances, budget controls and internal control processes
  • Support project managers on IOM and donor compliance throughout the project cycle
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation in the ERP system
  • Coordinate burn-rate reviews with project managers and finance focal points
  • Prepare programme budgets, revisions and financial reports for donor submission
  • Support procurement, inventory management, payroll allocation and audit processes

Requirements

  • Master degree in accounting, business administration or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or bachelor degree with four years of relevant experience
  • Experience in accounting, financial management and reporting
  • Experience preparing clear financial and management reports
  • Knowledge of MS Office products and computer literacy are required
  • Fluency in English is required
