Responsibilities
- Analyse the geographic distribution and sociodemographic profiles of return migrants
- Identify individual, economic, family and institutional determinants of return migration
- Assess professional trajectories before and after return and links to labour-market needs
- Analyse return migrants' investment behaviour and potential impact on jobs and innovation
- Measure territorial effects on employment, entrepreneurship and economic attractiveness
- Apply quantitative and qualitative methods using RGPH and ENMI data
- Deliver an analytical report, maps, graphics, policy brief, presentation and recommendations
- Present findings to IOM, HCP and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Master's or doctoral degree in demography, economics, statistics, sociology, social sciences, international development or another relevant field
- At least seven years of experience conducting studies and research on international migration, return migration, mobility or diaspora
- Demonstrated experience analysing labour markets, entrepreneurship and investment policies
- Advanced statistical analysis skills
- Excellent written and oral French and Arabic are required
