Responsibilities

  • Analyse the geographic distribution and sociodemographic profiles of return migrants
  • Identify individual, economic, family and institutional determinants of return migration
  • Assess professional trajectories before and after return and links to labour-market needs
  • Analyse return migrants' investment behaviour and potential impact on jobs and innovation
  • Measure territorial effects on employment, entrepreneurship and economic attractiveness
  • Apply quantitative and qualitative methods using RGPH and ENMI data
  • Deliver an analytical report, maps, graphics, policy brief, presentation and recommendations
  • Present findings to IOM, HCP and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Master's or doctoral degree in demography, economics, statistics, sociology, social sciences, international development or another relevant field
  • At least seven years of experience conducting studies and research on international migration, return migration, mobility or diaspora
  • Demonstrated experience analysing labour markets, entrepreneurship and investment policies
  • Advanced statistical analysis skills
  • Excellent written and oral French and Arabic are required
