Responsibilities

  • Monitor General Assembly, ECOSOC and HLPF meetings and negotiations
  • Prepare reports and summaries on economic, social and environmental developments
  • Support preparations for ECOSOC coordination, youth forum and orientation activities
  • Research trends and issues on the ECOSOC agenda
  • Assist stakeholder engagement and NGO participation in ECOSOC meetings
  • Draft inputs for statements, briefings, website content and social media

Requirements

  • Enrolled in or completed a graduate school programme, or enrolled in or completed the final academic year of a first university degree programme
  • Computer literacy in standard software applications
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

Additional info

  • Unpaid full-time in-person internship for four months, with possibility of extension
