Job Description
Supports WHO country offices to plan, produce and evaluate communications for health, strengthening public engagement, advocacy and consistent digital and media content across the Eastern Mediterranean. Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop country communication plans and operating procedures aligned with the Communications for Health strategy
- Create and disseminate evidence-based communications products for health promotion and risk communication
- Maintain health-event calendars and produce campaign materials for country offices
- Draft and monitor media, web and social-media content under WHO standards
- Document and evaluate communications initiatives and maintain product archives
- Build country-office capacity in content planning, design, branding and social-media management
Role Requirements
- Background in communications, advertising, marketing, public relations, digital media, journalism or relevant social or health sciences
- Excellent English writing, drafting and reporting skills
- Nationality of Andorra, Croatia, Estonia, Liechtenstein, Malta, Monaco, San Marino or Slovenia
