Country Operations Head

Lead ADB country operations in Tajikistan by shaping strategy and policy dialogue, managing programming, lending pipelines and portfolio performance, resolving operational issues, assuring project quality, coordinating government and development partners, and developing resident-mission teams.

Department: Tajikistan Resident Mission, Central and West Asia Department

• Shape country strategy, programming and policy dialogue
• Manage lending and non-lending pipelines and resources
• Lead country portfolio reviews and performance reporting
• Resolve country-wide and project-specific operational issues
• Guide project design, processing and quality assurance
• Lead work planning, capacity development and team performance

• Master degree in engineering, finance, economics, business administration or a related field, or university degree plus five years of specialised experience
• At least twelve years of relevant development-project, portfolio and pipeline experience
• International development experience across several countries
• Leadership and staff-capacity development experience

• Relocation to the Tajikistan Resident Mission is required
