Country Manager Japan

IATA sought a country manager to represent IATA in Japan and deliver the organization’s airline-industry agenda from the Tokyo field office. The role leads the Japan team, manages senior stakeholder relationships, advocates industry positions, monitors aviation developments, supports commercial opportunities, and ensures local compliance.

• Lead and mentor the Japan office team to deliver IATA country objectives
• Build senior relationships with IATA member and non-member airlines
• Advocate IATA industry positions to government and key stakeholders
• Monitor aviation-related political, economic, environmental, finance, infrastructure, and operational developments
• Support global priorities for safe, secure, efficient, and sustainable airline operations
• Support business development, corporate compliance, communications, events, and senior visits
