Construction Site Coordinator

Coordinates daily construction and maintenance works for roads, drainage, helipads and protective infrastructure in Abyei, directing labour and equipment while safeguarding technical quality, site safety, environmental standards, progress reporting and project close-out.

• Coordinate construction and maintenance of roads, drainage systems, helipads and protective infrastructure
• Direct and train skilled labourers, unskilled labourers and equipment operators
• Monitor site progress, delays and risks against technical, quality and safety standards
• Maintain site logs for materials, workforce attendance and equipment use
• Support delivery inspections, inventory control and site layout with surveyors and engineers
• Resolve technical and operational issues arising during construction
• Prepare progress reports, close-out records and final inspection documentation
• Enforce environmental protection and occupational safety practices

• Associate degree in civil engineering, construction, construction management or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field with at least three years of construction experience
• At least five years of experience supervising civil construction projects using heavy construction equipment
• Familiarity with construction methods, site safety and quality assurance
• Fluency in spoken and written English

• Initial consultancy duration of six months
