Responsibilities

  • Coordinate construction and maintenance of roads, drainage systems, helipads and protective infrastructure
  • Direct and train skilled labourers, unskilled labourers and equipment operators
  • Monitor site progress, delays and risks against technical, quality and safety standards
  • Maintain site logs for materials, workforce attendance and equipment use
  • Support delivery inspections, inventory control and site layout with surveyors and engineers
  • Resolve technical and operational issues arising during construction
  • Prepare progress reports, close-out records and final inspection documentation
  • Enforce environmental protection and occupational safety practices

Requirements

  • Associate degree in civil engineering, construction, construction management or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field with at least three years of construction experience
  • At least five years of experience supervising civil construction projects using heavy construction equipment
  • Familiarity with construction methods, site safety and quality assurance
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
