Community Manager on Disability-Inclusive Education

Manages IIEP-UNESCO’s multilingual community of practice on disability-inclusive education planning, recruiting and engaging members, moderating forums, curating resources, organising events, analysing participation, and identifying peer-learning and technical-support opportunities.

Department: IIEP-UNESCO in Africa

• Recruit and onboard members of the disability-inclusive education community
• Design and deliver thematic activities, webinars and peer-learning sessions
• Moderate forums and manage the multilingual virtual platform
• Curate resources and publish targeted member communications
• Analyse engagement data and prepare activity and review reports
• Identify country clusters and opportunities for technical assistance and South-South collaboration

• Masters degree in education, social sciences, communications or a related field
• At least three years of professional experience in disability-inclusive education
• At least one year working with education ministries and development partners in low- and middle-income countries
• Experience communicating and presenting to multinational audiences
• Excellent command of written and spoken English or French

• Remote consultancy for 11 months from September 2026 to July 2027
• Average engagement of three days per week
