Overview
This assignment supports UNDP Angola's Nature, Climate and Environment portfolio across climate adaptation, biodiversity, circular economy and sustainable resource management. The role contributes to project implementation, research, knowledge products, stakeholder coordination, monitoring and communications.

Responsibilities
- Support implementation of climate change and environmental projects on circular economy, biodiversity, waste management and climate adaptation
- Track project activities, timelines, deliverables, outputs and indicators
- Prepare workplans, progress reports and donor updates
- Conduct desk research on climate change, environmental policies and sustainable development practices
- Develop knowledge products including briefs, presentations, case studies and lessons learned
- Coordinate with government counterparts, partners and stakeholders
- Prepare communication materials and support visibility of project results and partnerships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Climate Change, Natural Resource Management, Sustainable Development, Environmental Engineering or a related field
- Demonstrated interest or up to three years of experience in climate change and environmental sustainability
- Demonstrated interest or up to three years of experience in sustainable energy, ecosystem restoration, carbon credit, circular economy or waste management
- Demonstrated interest or up to three years of experience in sustainable development and community-based initiatives
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- English is required
