Responsibilities

  • Transport UNFPA personnel and visitors safely and courteously
  • Perform daily vehicle checks and arrange minor or major repairs as needed
  • Maintain vehicle documents, equipment, cleanliness and technical records
  • Record official journeys, mileage, fuel consumption, oil checks and maintenance activity
  • Prepare monthly activity and fuel-consumption reports from supporting receipts
  • Support project errands, document delivery and field missions along approved routes
  • Apply UNFPA procedures immediately after any vehicle accident or incident

Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma
  • Valid category B and D driving licences
  • Two years of professional driving experience with a safe driving record
  • Knowledge of traffic rules and road-safety procedures
  • Experience performing routine vehicle checks and reporting mechanical problems
  • French proficiency
