Chauffeur

Provides safe and reliable transport for UNFPA personnel and visitors in southern Madagascar while maintaining the assigned vehicle, documenting mileage and fuel use, supporting field missions and ensuring compliance with road-safety and incident procedures.

• Transport UNFPA personnel and visitors safely and courteously
• Perform daily vehicle checks and arrange minor or major repairs as needed
• Maintain vehicle documents, equipment, cleanliness and technical records
• Record official journeys, mileage, fuel consumption, oil checks and maintenance activity
• Prepare monthly activity and fuel-consumption reports from supporting receipts
• Support project errands, document delivery and field missions along approved routes
• Apply UNFPA procedures immediately after any vehicle accident or incident

• Secondary school diploma
• Valid category B and D driving licences
• Two years of professional driving experience with a safe driving record
• Knowledge of traffic rules and road-safety procedures
• Experience performing routine vehicle checks and reporting mechanical problems
• French proficiency
