Responsibilities

  • Coordinate updates to hydrological publications and terminology resources
  • Coordinate contributions to strategic plans and annual operating plans
  • Prepare official documents, meeting reports and support for Secretariat focal points
  • Support global water processes including the 2026 UN Water Conference
  • Liaise with partners and assist with data collection, analysis, reporting and outreach
  • Assist project officers with project proposals and concept notes

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in hydrology, environmental sciences or a closely related field, or first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience coordinating technical activities or publications in the UN or a similar multi-stakeholder environment
  • Excellent oral and written knowledge of English
