Responsibilities

  • Review course objectives, audiences, technical content and WMO reference materials
  • Develop the instructional design strategy, learning sequence, engagement and assessment approach
  • Create module architecture, lesson flows, storyboards, navigation and learner interactions
  • Select multimedia and interactive methods aligned with learning outcomes
  • Build an interactive self-paced course with knowledge checks, scenarios and formative assessments
  • Ensure SCORM compliance, accessibility, usability and Moodle integration
  • Test course functionality and resolve technical and instructional issues
  • Collaborate with the content developer and WMO experts through iterative review and revision

Requirements

  • University degree in instructional design, digital illustration or a related field
  • At least five years of experience in instructional design and e-learning course development
  • Proficiency with Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, H5P or similar software for SCORM-compliant content
  • Ability to create visual, audio and video learning materials, including infographics, animations and interactive activities
  • Understanding of SCORM, xAPI, WCAG 2.1 and responsive e-learning design
