Job Description

Supports eleven community and productive projects for people in Colombia’s reintegration process, based in Cúcuta with field travel across Catatumbo. The volunteer assesses proposals, reviews budgets, mentors organisations, tracks finances and indicators, develops partnerships, and documents implementation for UNDP and ARN.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support transparent calls, evaluation, selection and monitoring of community initiatives
  • Coordinate project identification and formulation with UNDP, ARN and territorial teams
  • Review technical documents, budgets and workplans submitted by organisations
  • Prepare technical, conceptual and training products and reports
  • Coach organisations on community infrastructure and productive or social projects
  • Identify public and private partners and build sustainable technical or financial alliances
  • Collect and analyse performance indicators and upload deliverables to the monitoring platform

Role Requirements

  • At least two years of experience supporting community productive projects or formulating, implementing, monitoring and evaluating rural-development or socioeconomic-strengthening projects
  • Experience with fieldwork in rural communities, differentiated and gender-sensitive methods, information management, reporting, indicators or data analysis
  • Spanish proficiency

Desired Criteria

  • Academic background in economics, agro-industrial engineering, public administration, business administration or a related field
  • Specialisation in finance or postgraduate study in project management
