AI and Digital Justice Expert

The online volunteer will help UNODC and Albania judicial-training partners refine, design and pilot training on artificial intelligence for judicial actors, with attention to legal, ethical and human-rights safeguards.

Department: Regional Office for South-Eastern Europe

• Review and refine training materials on artificial intelligence and digitalisation for judicial needs
• Design continuous training on artificial intelligence for judicial actors
• Integrate stakeholder feedback and conduct quality assurance of training content
• Develop guidance notes, case examples and practical tools for trainers and participants
• Deliver an in-person lecture and prepare pilot training materials for the Albanian School of Magistrates
• Recommend future scaling, replication or integration into standard curricula

• Experience delivering training for professional audiences
• Familiarity with ethical, legal and human-rights considerations related to artificial intelligence
• Strong knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts and their application in the justice sector
• Accuracy and professionalism in document production and editing
• Excellent drafting, analytical and presentation skills
• Native Albanian and fluent written and spoken English
