Responsibilities

  • Coordinate human resources actions including recruitment, placement, promotion, performance appraisal and separations
  • Define conditions of service, duties, responsibilities, privileges and entitlements under UN rules
  • Manage grants and compile reports through SAP, Umoja and planning systems
  • Lead preparation and implementation of work programmes, budgets and allotments
  • Monitor programme budgets and coordinate internal and external stakeholder reports
  • Develop procedures for accounting and financial management controls
  • Oversee procurement, billing, income receipts, operational travel and vendor contract payments
  • Identify office technology needs and collect data for planning and reporting

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in business or public administration, finance, accounting, law or a related area, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • At least five years of progressively responsible professional experience in administration, finance, accounting, human resources management or a related field
  • Work experience with standard office applications, including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Work experience with an enterprise resource planning system
  • English is required
