Responsibilities
- Coordinate human resources actions including recruitment, placement, promotion, performance appraisal and separations
- Define conditions of service, duties, responsibilities, privileges and entitlements under UN rules
- Manage grants and compile reports through SAP, Umoja and planning systems
- Lead preparation and implementation of work programmes, budgets and allotments
- Monitor programme budgets and coordinate internal and external stakeholder reports
- Develop procedures for accounting and financial management controls
- Oversee procurement, billing, income receipts, operational travel and vendor contract payments
- Identify office technology needs and collect data for planning and reporting
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in business or public administration, finance, accounting, law or a related area, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least five years of progressively responsible professional experience in administration, finance, accounting, human resources management or a related field
- Work experience with standard office applications, including Microsoft Office and Excel
- Work experience with an enterprise resource planning system
- English is required
