CCID seeks online volunteers to help produce three short 3D animated films for the #TheSilentCount femicide awareness campaign. The role supports AI-assisted animation, editing, sound, subtitles and final delivery for YouTube and social media.

Responsibilities

  • Review scripts, storylines, shot breakdowns and AI video prompts provided by CCID
  • Agree a production schedule with timelines for drafts, feedback, corrections and final delivery
  • Create and maintain consistent character and visual references for the films
  • Use approved AI video generation tools to produce animated shots for each film
  • Generate versions of key shots and work with CCID to select the strongest takes
  • Edit each film into a complete 2 to 3 minute animated video following the approved script, tone, pacing and visual direction
  • Add on-screen text including billboard messages, phone messages, news banners, identification cards, protest signs and campaign end cards
  • Develop appropriate sound design including city background sounds, silence, sirens, protest sounds, news audio and other scripted sound elements
  • Ensure the films remain respectful, non-graphic and survivor-centred
  • Produce 16:9 YouTube versions, 9:16 vertical social media versions, teaser clips and English subtitle files
  • Revise outputs based on consolidated feedback from CCID
  • Organise and hand over final videos, project files, generated clips, subtitles, graphics and reusable assets
  • Attend weekly virtual check-ins and provide progress updates
  • Document the production process for future campaign videos

Requirements

  • Experience or strong interest in animation, visual storytelling, character design or AI-assisted video production for the animation role
  • Familiarity with or willingness to quickly learn AI video and image generation tools
  • Experience in video editing, motion graphics or post-production for the editing role
  • Experience or interest in audio editing, sound design, subtitling and preparing videos for online platforms for the sound and packaging role
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good written English
  • Ability to work remotely with regular feedback
  • Reliability and ability to meet agreed timelines
  • Comfort working with shared folders, review links and online coordination tools
  • Sensitivity to femicide and violence against women and girls
  • Commitment to respectful, survivor-centred and non-graphic storytelling
  • Access to a computer suitable for the role and a stable internet connection
