Responsibilities
- Establish baseline values for Skills4Girls key performance indicators
- Measure girls' agency, digital literacy, school participation and retention, gender attitudes and social norms
- Support realistic target setting and evidence-based work planning at regional, woreda and school levels
- Link outputs, intermediate outcomes and higher-level results for performance monitoring
- Identify implementation gaps and learning opportunities to inform programme planning
- Develop methodology, workplan, sampling strategy and data collection approach for the assessment
- Produce assessment outputs that support contextualized planning, implementation, management and decision-making
Requirements
- Master's degree in gender studies, education, social sciences, development studies, statistics, public health, monitoring and evaluation or a related field
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience conducting research, assessments or evaluations related to education, gender equality, adolescent programming, child protection or related areas
- Proven experience developing results frameworks for gender and adolescent girls' programmes
- Strong understanding of adolescent girls' empowerment and gender issues in Ethiopia
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills
- Proven experience in mixed-methods research and data analysis
- Proficiency in English and Amharic is required
