Responsibilities

  • Review archive initiative workplans, deliverables, timelines, risks, contracts and stakeholder roles
  • Maintain delivery plans, schedules, risk registers, issue logs, dependency trackers and reporting tools
  • Coordinate RSSD stakeholders, project teams, consultants, vendors and service providers
  • Track priority tasks, blockers, dependencies and pending decisions
  • Identify delays, resource gaps and delivery risks and recommend corrective action
  • Support archive digitisation, validation, verification, metadata and research activities
  • Advise senior management on implementation priorities, risks, resources and governance
  • Prepare progress reports, donor inputs, briefing notes, presentations and recommendations

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in a relevant field, or a bachelor's degree with two additional years of relevant experience
  • At least ten years of progressively responsible experience managing complex archive, research, information management, digitisation, knowledge management or records management programmes
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, external service providers, vendors and consultants
  • Experience managing programme integration, dependencies, risks, delivery tracking, budgets, contracts, reporting and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience supporting donor-funded projects and complex multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Strong programme and project management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management tools
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English

Additional info

  • Total remuneration: USD 120,000 per year
  • Assignment expected for 12 months, with possible extension subject to programme requirements, satisfactory performance and funds
  • Work location is to be negotiated
