Senior Industry Specialist - Climate Finance Specialist

The specialist supports IFC's climate business programme in Africa by developing sustainable finance opportunities, advising financial institutions and monitoring investment and advisory projects.

• Generate new business leads for investment and advisory services with financial institutions
• Implement and monitor investment and advisory projects linked to sustainable finance
• Support regional product strategy and client relationship leads with technical expertise
• Prepare and update IFC's regional sustainability finance strategy
• Design and lead targeted sustainable finance advisory programmes with partner banks
• Conduct sustainable finance diagnostics and appraisals for clients
• Support investment negotiations, work plans, advisory agreements and transaction documentation
• Monitor project progress and impact through reporting and evaluation
