Security Officer

Supports UNICEF security risk management in Ukraine by assessing threats, planning protective measures, coordinating safety services and security partnerships, and building staff capacity to safeguard personnel, eligible family members, premises, assets and operational resources.

• Support security risk assessments and planning for personnel, premises, assets and resources
• Coordinate safety and security services at the duty station
• Build and maintain security networks and operational partnerships
• Deliver security knowledge management and capacity-building activities
• Provide technical, operational and administrative support to the Security Manager or Chief Field Officer

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in security risk management, international relations, conflict analysis, intelligence analysis, diplomatic studies, conflict and security, counter-terrorism or another relevant technical field
• At least two years of professional experience in global security risk management or security analysis
• Fluency in English

• Fixed-term appointment covering three Security Officer positions
• UNICEF does not facilitate visas or work authorisation for National Officer appointments
