Responsibilities

  • Review up to 50 youth artwork submissions from different countries and regions
  • Translate short submission texts from French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese or Arabic into English when needed
  • Assess submissions against criteria for relevance, originality, creativity, artistic quality, clarity and impact
  • Complete standardised evaluation score sheets within the agreed timeframe
  • Provide brief written comments supporting scores where appropriate
  • Participate in virtual coordination meetings with the UNODC project team if required
  • Declare potential conflicts of interest and maintain confidentiality and impartiality

Requirements

  • Academic or professional background in visual arts, graphic design, art education, youth development, communications, crime prevention and criminal justice, social sciences, education, psychology or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make objective and balanced assessments
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
  • Commitment to diversity, inclusion, fairness and ethical standards
