Review of Youth Artworks for UNODC Youth Crime Prevention Art Campaign

Online volunteers review youth artwork submissions for UNODC's Global Youth Crime Prevention Art Campaign, score entries against agreed criteria and provide fair comments to support an inclusive selection process.

Department: Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Section

• Review up to 50 youth artwork submissions from different countries and regions
• Translate short submission texts from French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese or Arabic into English when needed
• Assess submissions against criteria for relevance, originality, creativity, artistic quality, clarity and impact
• Complete standardised evaluation score sheets within the agreed timeframe
• Provide brief written comments supporting scores where appropriate
• Participate in virtual coordination meetings with the UNODC project team if required
• Declare potential conflicts of interest and maintain confidentiality and impartiality

• Academic or professional background in visual arts, graphic design, art education, youth development, communications, crime prevention and criminal justice, social sciences, education, psychology or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make objective and balanced assessments
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion, fairness and ethical standards

• Online volunteers must attend a mandatory virtual orientation before starting the assignment
• UNODC will provide evaluation guidelines, scoring criteria, confidentiality requirements and ongoing support
• Submitted artwork and evaluation materials remain UNODC intellectual property and must be treated as confidential
