Overview

Manages a regional survey project on Roma socio-economic vulnerabilities in the Western Balkans and Türkiye, coordinating implementation, monitoring, donor reporting, partnerships and knowledge management for UNDP's Istanbul Regional Hub.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, implementation, annual work plans, procurement plans, budgets and revisions
  • Manage and report results for the multi-country survey in line with UNDP procedures and financial controls
  • Oversee administrative and financial aspects of the project and support synergies with related regional projects
  • Coordinate counterparts, integrate feedback and maintain effective communication mechanisms
  • Monitor results against work plans and budgets using M&E and risk management tools in Quantum
  • Prepare donor reports and presentations for DG ENEST, the World Bank and other partners
  • Produce knowledge products, lessons learned, briefs, webinars and quality-controlled technical reports
  • Support regional knowledge management, SharePoint workspaces, quality assurance review and data integration

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in Development, Economics, Social Sciences or a related field, or bachelor's degree in those fields with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • At least five years with a master's degree or seven years with a bachelor's degree of relevant experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder, multi-year programmes
  • Technical experience implementing programmes in poverty reduction, local development and social protection
  • Experience with substantive and policy issues and development challenges affecting vulnerable populations in Europe and Central Asia
  • Fluency in English is required
