Overview
Manages the FCCB-SRBC Accelerator Project in Papua New Guinea, coordinating climate, forestry and biodiversity reforms with government, FAO, EU and other partners while overseeing delivery, finance, reporting and knowledge work.

Responsibilities
- Lead strategic project planning, annual work plans, budgets, procurement, HR and implementation planning
- Manage the project life cycle and ensure programme, financial and administrative deliverables meet UNDP and donor requirements
- Supervise project personnel, consultants and technical experts and review project documents for quality
- Integrate gender equality across project interventions and administrative activities
- Build partnerships with government, FAO, EU, civil society, private sector and local stakeholders
- Lead monitoring, evaluation, results frameworks, risk assessments and corrective action on implementation issues
- Coordinate corporate, donor and government reporting and support operational and financial closure
- Lead knowledge sharing, capacity building, advocacy and documentation of lessons learned
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences or a related field, or bachelor's degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least seven years with a master's degree or nine years with a bachelor's degree of progressively responsible national or international experience in project management, management advisory services, monitoring and evaluation of development projects, and partnership management in climate change and environment in Papua New Guinea
- Experience using computers, office software packages, web-based management systems, spreadsheets and database packages
- Fluency in English and Tok Pisin is required
