Project Management Support Analyst

The retainer consultant will support UNOPS education-infrastructure work in Brazil by analysing budgets, cost compositions and financial controls for public school works serving Indigenous and Quilombola communities.

Department: Southern Cone Multi-Country Office

• Support project requirements for infrastructure design and works procurement
• Prepare and analyse quantities, budget spreadsheets and unit cost compositions
• Prepare market-based price assessments for unit cost compositions
• Draft service specifications for infrastructure acquisitions and public works
• Prepare technical reports, schedules, cost curves and disbursement plans
• Develop budget and financial monitoring guidelines for engineering works
• Provide technical guidance to designers and engineers
• Participate in meetings, technical visits and project reporting

• Bachelor degree in architecture or engineering with registration in the relevant professional council
• Two years of progressive responsibility preparing infrastructure works budgets, including at least one year on public works or publicly funded works
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Volare, Compor 90, PERT-CPM or Gantt
• Native Portuguese and basic Spanish

• Retainer contract for 12 months
• Own laptop, software and internet connection are required for home-based work
• Availability for business-hours meetings and travel is required
• UNOPS covers required travel costs under applicable rules
