Overview

Supports Migration Solutions Unit projects through activity monitoring, budget administration, data analysis, reporting and partner coordination. The role organises meetings and training, tracks implementing partners and maintains the documentation needed for migration-development initiatives in Tajikistan.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation and monitoring of Migration Solutions Unit projects
  • Compile, analyse and present information on project topics
  • Monitor budgets, verify funds and update financial records
  • Coordinate administrative requests, clearances and follow-up actions
  • Draft status reports, correspondence, briefings and presentations
  • Organise meetings, workshops, training sessions and project records
  • Coordinate activities with authorities, donors, UN agencies and other partners
  • Monitor implementing partners and report non-compliance

Requirements

  • School diploma with five years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in political or social sciences, international relations, development studies, migration studies, human rights, law or a related field with three years of relevant experience
  • Experience liaising with governmental authorities, international institutions, UN agencies and non-governmental organisations
  • Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced people, trafficking victims or other vulnerable groups
