Project Assistant (Cultural Mediation)

Provides cultural mediation, language and clerical support for project activities addressing labour exploitation of migrants, including inspections, information sessions and outreach in Italy

Department: ALT Caporalato T.R.E. Project

• Provide impartial cultural mediation during labour inspection and information activities
• Support information provision on recruitment, irregular work, labour exploitation and trafficking procedures
• Contribute to awareness-raising on protection mechanisms for victims of labour exploitation and trafficking
• Accompany inspection taskforces to sites and facilitate communication with migrants
• Provide language support during outreach activities, inspections and meetings
• Carry out related clerical duties

• High school diploma with three years of relevant professional experience or bachelor's degree with one year of relevant working experience
• Fluency in Italian and mother tongue in Bengali are required
• Driving licence is required

• Fixed-term contract for 1 year with possibility of extension
