Responsibilities

  • Adapt data and research outputs into policy briefs, explainers, infographics and media-ready visuals for different audiences
  • Support development and maintenance of a public-facing child data portal or microsite, including data analysis, visualisation and updates
  • Maintain a calendar of planning, budgeting, advocacy and media moments to support timely dissemination of knowledge products
  • Coordinate knowledge-sharing forums with stakeholders on child rights issues
  • Build partnerships with academia and civil society organisations on child-related research and data initiatives
  • Maintain internal knowledge-sharing systems and organise evidence products, lessons learned and analytical outputs
  • Engage in UNICEF global and regional knowledge management networks
  • Train and support staff in using UNICEF technology platforms, including SharePoint, for knowledge management activities

Requirements

  • Background in development studies, social sciences, public policy, communications, information management or another relevant field
  • Experience using web design and data visualisation tools
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, coordination and data analytics skills
  • Ability to translate complex evidence into visually compelling formats for diverse audiences, including cleaning, interpreting and synthesising quantitative and qualitative data through web content management systems
