Planning & Monitoring Specialist

Strengthens planning and monitoring systems for UNICEF Madagascar, supporting work-planning, performance tracking, data use, capacity building and programme accountability across the country office and Comoros support arrangements.

Department: PME Section

• Support programme performance planning and work-planning quality assurance
• Monitor programme performance and track management decisions with field offices
• Support situation monitoring, rapid assessments and humanitarian performance monitoring
• Analyse data and information for programme decision-making
• Build planning and monitoring capacity of sections and partners
• Coordinate knowledge management and innovation for planning and monitoring

• Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, International Development, Development Studies, Development Planning, Public Policy or another closely related field
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in planning, monitoring and evaluation, programme management, results-based management, performance monitoring, data analysis, knowledge management, capacity building, coordination, management reporting or related fields
• Experience in programme planning, performance monitoring, reporting, technical support, development planning and statistics
• Fluency in French and knowledge of English
