Responsibilities
- Plan and execute photographic coverage of conferences and official events
- Capture representative images using advanced composition, lighting and visual storytelling
- Coordinate coverage with event focal points as schedules and priorities change
- Edit, colour-correct and format images to professional standards
- Curate high-impact photographs for publications, web platforms and official use
- Verify names, titles and context when preparing detailed captions
- Classify images, apply metadata and maintain the institutional visual archive
- Maintain and troubleshoot photographic equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least seven years of professional photography experience
- English or French at UN Level II across reading, writing, listening and speaking
- Authorization to work at the Addis Ababa duty station
