Responsibilities
- Define and implement IOM Venezuela’s internal and external communication strategy
- Develop media relationships and coordinate press conferences, releases and briefing points
- Create timely digital content and maintain website and social-media channels
- Coordinate with government, NGO and UN communication counterparts
- Produce written and audiovisual public-information products for national and international audiences
- Manage newsletters, press products and other communication channels in English and Spanish
- Ensure compliance with donor visibility and communication requirements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in journalism, communication, development studies or a related field, or a university degree in one of those fields with two years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in journalism or a related field covering national and international issues
- Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English
- Venezuelan citizenship or legal residence and work authorisation in Venezuela
