Responsibilities

  • Develop technical materials for public awareness campaigns on ozone layer protection and climate change
  • Manage YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn platforms with engagement and follower goals
  • Create and implement a strategic social media plan aligned with the National Ozone Unit communication plan
  • Support awareness campaigns on HCFC phase-out, HFC phase-down and Kigali Implementation Plan activities
  • Prepare newsletter graphic material and draft text for National Ozone Unit review
  • Monitor and report online campaign performance and adjust content distribution
  • Promote training courses, workshops and certification programmes for sustainable refrigerant management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or another related area
  • Two years of experience developing public awareness or outreach programmes for targeted audiences and managing social media and public campaigns
  • Experience editing publications on environmental matters
  • Fluency in oral and written Spanish
