Responsibilities
- Coordinate administration and relationship building for the Fossil Fuel Hub
- Support the Fossil Fuel Regulatory Programme and Methane Regulator-to-Regulator Network
- Provide input to event design, management and communications coordination
- Support activities to reduce methane and black carbon emissions from fossil fuel industries
- Prepare meeting and event readouts, key messages and content
- Track actions and close-out tasks across hub activities
Requirements
- University degree or advanced degree in climate policy, international relations and trade, or related elements
- Understanding of peer-to-peer platforms and exchange mechanisms
- Understanding of methane and other short-lived climate pollutant emissions, climate impacts and mitigation opportunities
- Proficiency preparing meeting and event readouts, key messages and content
- Planning, action tracking and close-out competency
- Knowledge of IT systems and administrative processes
- Fluency in written and oral English
