Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate preparation and review of road-engineering designs
- Review road project budgets, technical components and cost estimates
- Coordinate infrastructure works and quality assurance for road engineering activities
- Ensure project execution complies with technical, contractual, HSSE, environmental and quality requirements
- Verify consultant products and contractor outputs against contractual and technical requirements
- Monitor milestones, deliverables, quality parameters and field-verification records
- Identify design and construction risks and recommend corrective actions
- Advise project managers, contractors, consultants and stakeholders on road-engineering matters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related fields with 7 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree or equivalent in Road Engineering or related fields with reduced experience requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in civil engineering projects focused on road engineering or related areas
- Fluency in Portuguese is required
- Basic English is required
- Basic Spanish is required

- LICA retainer contract for 12 months
- Work is performed only on days requested by the supervisor
- Activities will be carried out in person and may require travel to worksites
- Computer equipment and peripherals will not be provided
- Mandatory retainer courses must be completed before providing services and are unpaid
