Responsibilities
- Develop a web-scraping module to collect BPC and LOAS cases from federal court public portals
- Design and implement structured and vector database storage for collected legal documents
- Calculate procedural metrics by regional federal court, year and legal representation type
- Analyse case outcomes, claimant socioeconomic profiles and determinants of litigation patterns
- Prepare a national analytical report with policy recommendations for administrative improvements
- Deliver source files and a reproducible workflow for collection and analysis
- Coordinate outputs with ECLAC and IPEA teams
Requirements
- University degree in computer science, statistics, economics, public policy or a related field
- Three years of experience in quantitative empirical studies or research and Python data analysis applied to public policy, law, social sciences or related fields
- Knowledge of text mining, natural language processing or computational methods applied to legal data
- Knowledge of relational or vector databases and automated data collection
- Fluency in Portuguese
