Responsibilities

  • Provide investment and financing expertise for DRC development finance work
  • Conduct credit appraisal, financial analysis and financial modelling
  • Support portfolio de-risking for lending institutions
  • Underwrite grants, debt or guarantees
  • Engage banks, ministries and financial-sector stakeholders
  • Travel for due diligence, site assessment and project monitoring

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with seven years or bachelor’s degree with nine years of progressively responsible experience in development finance and energy finance in DRC
  • Experience in emerging market financing and investments in DRC
  • Experience in portfolio de-risking, grants, debt or guarantees
  • Fluency in French and English
