Intern, Project Development and Communication

IOM Senegal seeks an intern to support project development, programme visibility, and communication efforts in Dakar. The role covers concept notes and donor visibility inputs alongside press releases, social media content, and multimedia products for migration governance and resilience programming.

Department: Country Office Senegal

• Support external communication and visibility strategy in line with donor requirements
• Contribute to concept notes, project proposals and donor visibility inputs
• Support national and regional communication and advocacy campaigns
• Produce factsheets, brochures, newsletters, infographics and audiovisual content
• Draft and edit press releases, talking points and web stories
• Document field activities through photography, video and interviews
• Support social media and website management

• Enrolled in final year of first university degree (min Bachelor) or Master's, or graduated within last 12 months, in Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Social Sciences, International Relations or Development Studies
• Between 20 and 36 years of age with less than two years relevant working experience
• Fluency in English and French required

• Internship under IOM 2026 Global Access Internship Programme
• Open only to citizens of IOM Member States not represented or under-represented in IOM
• Small monthly stipend depending on experience/location; travel and visa costs covered
