Intern - Policy, Research, and Advocacy

Supports OSCSEA policy, research and advocacy work on prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse. The internship contributes research, data collection, advocacy implementation and analysis to strengthen UN system response.

Department: Office of the Special Coordinator on Improving the United Nations Response to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse

• Conduct research on prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse
• Support advocacy implementation and related policy activities
• Collect and analyze information and data for OSCSEA work
• Draft or support policy, research and advocacy materials
• Contribute to coordination across UN system response efforts

• Enrollment in a graduate programme, enrollment in the final academic year of a first university degree programme, or recent graduation from a qualifying university degree
• Studies or interest in political affairs, public policy, human rights, gender, social sciences or related field
• English is required

• In-person full-time modality is preferred; part-time may be considered
